Katie

Hi, I'm Katie, a wife, mum of three and the founder of The Shropshire Wedding Nanny.

With 20 years of childcare experience, I've worked extensively as a private nanny before creating a service dedicated to supporting families at weddings.

I founded The Shropshire Wedding Nanny in 2019 to provide a safe and professional service to those fellow parents and soon to be married couples, who have chosen to start their family first, just like I did. Since then, we've cared for children at weddings across the UK, France and Italy.

Today, I lead a trusted team of experienced, qualified nannies who provide calm, engaging and professional childcare - creating happy memories for little ones and complete peace of mind for parents.

Stacey

Stacey has been part of The Shropshire Wedding Nanny team since 2022. She is a natural with children, bringing a calm, caring energy to every wedding. Stacey is a truly valued member of the team, loved by families and little ones alike.

Hi I'm Stacey.

I am a wife and mum of 1.

I have over 15 years experience in childcare.

The ultimate highlight thus far, would be when I won 'Shropshire childminder of the year' in 2016.

I am proud to be a part of The Shropshire Wedding Nanny.

Ellie

Hello my name is Ellie.

I have over 9 years experience working with children. My career started working in a childcare setting to which I completed my level 3 childcare qualification.

Through passion and caring for children I realised I wanted to continue my studies and then went on to complete a degree in Education helping me to undergo my training as a Primary School teacher.

Working with children is such an exciting and rewarding job and I feel very privileged to be a part of the Shropshire Wedding Nanny.

Ellie is currently on maternity leave with her first child - we look forward to welcoming her back when she is ready.

Ashley

Ashley joined The Shropshire Wedding Nanny in 2024, she has proven to be an incredible asset to the team. She consistently shows confifence in making calm, instant decisions when needed, provides reassuring support to children and parents alike, all while bringing so much to the relaxed parts of the day.

Hi, I'm Ashley,

I started working in childcare at 17 and by the time I was 19, I had achieved my Diploma in Childcare and Education.

I'm now 30, currently working as a senior nursery practitioner. I'm a mum of 1, with a new baby on the way.

Ashley is currently on maternity leave.

Lauren

I am super excited to welcome Lauren to The Shropshire Wedding Nanny team.

2026 will be Lauren's first wedding season with us, and I am sure you will be seeing a lot more of her over the next few months.

Lauren is calm, caring and naturally brilliant with babies and young children. She brings a warm, reassuring presence to wedding days, helping little ones feel safe and secure while parents relax and fully enjoy the celebrations.

Hi, I'm Lauren, I started working in childcare when I was 16, and quickly realised how much I love supporting children and their families. I've gained so much experience across childcare - from nursery work, primary teaching, tutoring, and private nannying to support family roles - and I truly enjoy being that calm, joyful, nurturing individual for your little ones at special events.

I'm currently working as a primary school teacher and I'm a first time mum to a beautiful baby girl.
